What we collect

When you place an order or contact us, we collect your name, email address, delivery and billing address, phone number, and order details. Payment card details are handled securely by our payment providers — we never see or store your full card details.

Why we collect it

To process and deliver your order, provide customer support, and — only if you opt in — send you marketing emails. We rely on your consent for marketing, and on contractual necessity for processing your order.

Who we share it with

We share only what's necessary with the services that run our store and fulfil your order: our ecommerce platform (Shopify), our payment processors, and the suppliers and couriers who pack and deliver your order. We do not sell your data to anyone.

Cookies and tracking

Our store uses cookies to make the site work, remember your basket, and understand how the site is used. We also use the Meta pixel to measure the performance of our advertising on Facebook and Instagram. You can control cookies through your browser settings or our cookie banner.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, and to withdraw marketing consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email hello@silversnout.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

How long we keep it

We keep order data for as long as needed to meet our legal and accounting obligations, then delete it.
